Central Vigilance Commission
(Co-ordination I Section)

F.No. 98/DSP/9
Subject: Complaints through e-mail.

1.     It has been observed that e-mail has become a convenient media to lodge pseudonymous complaints. The consideration of such complaints without verification would run counter to the commission's instruction No. 3(V)/99/2 dated 29th June 1999. To prevent this misuse, it has been decided that complaints send through e-mail will only be accepted in case complainants have given their full address and identity and subject to verification.

2. This issues with the approval of the Commission.
