Further Clarification on Tenders portal (http://govtenders.nic.in) developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC)-Procedure regarding.

1.         Many  organisations   are approaching NIC for publishing tenders on the above stated portal.  As per the procedure, each organisation is provided with login account to publish and administer their tender on this portal.  This necessitates establishing the authenticity and authority of the approaching officer before a user account is created for and issues to him/her.

2.         It is therefore, suggested that the CVO/GM(IT)/Director(Materials Management) or any other officer of the level of the General manager and above may act as a nodal officer for tender administration of his/her respective organisation.   The nodal officer shall, in turn, authenticate user accounts and coordinate among various branches/units/divisions of his/her respective organisation in this regard.  He/she will be provided with a Master Account for his/her organisation.

3.         Organisations  are, therefore, requested to designate the nodal officer for this purpose and communicate his/her details in the Request form for Master Account for Tender Administration  at the below mentioned address, who shall in turn receive the Master Account for tender administration.
